What is the APS certificate and do I need it?

The APS certificate is mandatory for Pakistani students. It verifies your academic qualifications are genuine and equivalent to German standards. The process involves submitting transcripts, degree certificates, and an interview at the German Embassy in Islamabad. Cost: €75. Processing: 4-8 weeks.

How long does visa processing take?

Germany launched a digital visa application portal processing applications in 4-6 weeks (down from 8-12 weeks). Apply at least 2-3 months before your programme starts.

What are the work rights during and after studies?
